Provider chosen, not yet configured. The chosen AI provider is Gemini; the exact model, cost cap and API key are not yet configured. The server route honestly reports that the AI is not configured: no answer is simulated, no question is sent to a provider.

What is planned (spec, section 9)

Natural-language search: free question, answered first from the published guides, with sources and check date shown.
Personalised advice: tailor-made itinerary built only with places present in the guides; eat / stay recommendations by profile, affiliate blocks marked and kept separate from the advice.
Group help: arbitration of votes and budget, a comparable alternative if an activity is closed or too expensive — never inventing availability.

Ask a question

Guardrails: no key on the client side, rate limiting (10 requests / minute per address in this version), question validated (1 to 1000 characters), no automatic guide publication by the AI. The "add to itinerary" button will only appear once a real sourced answer exists.
